Alpha Grilled Pork Banh Mi

A sandwich so good it should require a license to serve.

Meet the banh mi that came to party — grilled pork soaked in Tiger'Stache Alpha (our Asian-inspired umami sauce with a Southern handshake), stacked on crusty bread with pickled veggies, spicy jalapeños, and more flavor than your uncle’s tailgate playlist. This ain’t your average cookout sandwich — it’s international BBQ diplomacy.

You’ll Need:

For the Pork:

·         1 pork tenderloin (1 lb of potential greatness)

·         1/2 cup Tiger'Stache Alpha Sauce

·         1 tbsp sesame oil

·         1 tbsp brown sugar

·         1 tsp black pepper

For the Pickled Crunch:

·         1/2 cup shredded carrots

·         1/2 cup thin-sliced daikon (or radish, if that’s what you got)

·         1/4 cup rice vinegar

       ·          1 tbsp sugar

       ·          Pinch of salt

For the Sandwich Setup:

       ·          2 French baguettes (or 4 sandwich rolls)
       ·          Mayo (duke’s if you know what’s up)
       ·         Cucumber spears
       ·         Fresh cilantro
       ·         Jalapeños (for those who fear no heat)

How It Goes Down:

Marinate Like a Champ: Mix Alpha, sesame oil, brown sugar, and black pepper. Drop that pork in and let it soak up the love for at least 2 hours. Overnight if you’re thinking ahead.

Pickle Time: Quick-pickle your carrots and daikon in vinegar, sugar, and salt. Let them chill while you fire up the grill.

Grill It Up: Medium-high heat, 12–15 minutes, turning until it hits 145°F inside. Rest, then slice thin.

Stack Your Sandwich: Toast your bread, slather on the mayo, layer in the pork, veggies, cucumbers, jalapeños, and cilantro.

Devour Immediately: Optional nap required.

Chef’s Orders: Try it with grilled tofu if you’re feeling plant-based. Still rules.
